slow cooked carrot cake porridge recipe

You'll need:
2 medium apples, grated
2 medium carrots, peeled and grated
1/2 cup dates, finely chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
2 cups rolled oats
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups milk of choice
2 cups water
Place all prepared ingredients into a slow cooker and stir to combine
Cook on low for 8-10 hours (ideally put on before going to bed).
Serve warm into bowls with a dash of milk, yoghurt, and an extra sprinkling of honey, cinnamon and walnuts!
